Lower back pain is the most common cause of disability worldwide. It is one of the most common reasons for missing work, and the second most common reason why people visit the doctor, with only respiratory infections leading to more doctor visits. Half of all Americans state that they have symptoms of back pain each year, and it is estimated that up to 80% of all Americans will experience some sort of back problem during their lives. One of the most important things that you should look to get if you have lower back pain is a good mattress. Everyone has heard that you should stand up straight.
